Keara Boyce (she/her/hers) is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist in Nova Scotia and Ontario, and has certification with professional interest in adult swallowing through Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. Keara has specialty training in dysphagia (swallowing disorders) assessment and treatment, including MBSImp, DIGEST, ASPEKT and MDTP. Keara has worked in a variety of practice settings including acute care (stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, burn, head and neck oncology, medicine, intensive care, etc.), outpatient services (outpatient swallowing clinic, voice, speech and language), research, and clinical education.
Keara is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and client-centered services for people living with swallowing, voice and communication difficulties. Keara has also sought additional training and education in order to provide inclusive and gender-affirming voice therapy. Keara prides herself on working alongside her patients to make meaningful changes in their life.

Oscar is a registered speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping individuals overcome communication and swallowing challenges. He has worked in the school system, primarily treating school-aged children with speech and language disorders. In addition to his experience in articulation, language development, and social communication, Oscar has also worked with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and has provided adult swallowing assessments and therapy. With a strong interest in linguistics and bilingualism, he is dedicated to supporting individuals from diverse language backgrounds and ensuring that communication is accessible to all.

Juliana McLaren is a registered speech-language pathologist with a passion for high-quality services for people with swallowing and communication disorders. Juliana has a certification with professional interest in adult and peditric swallowing. Juliana has specialty training in pediatric feeding, flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallow function (FEES), dysphagia therapy, and speech & language therapy. Juliana has worked in a variety of settings with patients of all ages including hospitals, rehabilitation centres, school-services, and community clinics. Juliana’s journey with communication and swallowing disorders began as a caregiver for a family member. She understands how these conditions impact a person and their loved ones. She prides herself on an empathetic approach and empowers her patients to make decisions based on factors like safety and risk management, but also places a high importance on the role food and eating plays in our quality of life.
